[resolved]strange black bars - horizontal artwork

I have sorted out 98% of my artwork issues now...
Here is the (hopefully last remaining one)
Most games I got working as per previous post, but some games give me black bars similar to the image attached.
I have confirmed sizes etc in photoshop but it appears there's a small screen buffer somewhere I'm not seeing to allow the spacing..
hope that makes sense

That's just how the game runs on a regular monitor.
If you go into the slider controls and turn up the brightness all the way, you will see that the visible screen is displaying like you want, and touching the edge of the red/white border.
The game simply doesn't make use of the whole screen, that's all.

So I spose I could trick it by editing the file and a bit of guess work to do so.
