Old computer is out and time for a new up to date one. Been a long time since I've built one. First does mame support quad core or is it still only dual core? I would like to build a fast machine but at the same time not over kill. This will be a dedicated mame machine. So any suggestions on hardware will be appreciated.

* Core 2 up to Core i7.
I have a Quad Core 2 with a Gateway motherboard and MAME run just fine so far.
You probably want a Core i7 which is better than I have. Make sure it the newest version of this chip.
