hiscore.dat for HBMame

I'm trying to find a copy of hiscore.dat that works w/ HBMame. If i use the regular mame one it works fine for regualar mame roms like mspacman but it doesn't save hi scores the homebrew titles. I tried editing hiscore.dat to add the donkey kong roms & made sure to add them where I though the appropriate place would be but it didn't help.

if anyone can point me in the right direction, i'd really appreciate it. like I said, hiscores get saved in hbmame for the non-homebrew titles.

I was on the same Quest and contacted Lee from the unofficial hiscore.dat project. He was kind enough to figure out the right pointers. Just add the following to your hiscore.dat

Exellent. I contacted him quite a while ago about the same thing. Glad it was finally discovered. i can't wait to try it out.
