M-79 Ambush possibly available to scan
#391244 - 07/07/21 06:20 PM

I just ran into a guy with what I think is a complete M-79 Ambush cabinet. Does any of its artwork need to be scanned? I think he's open to letting someone do it. Lives in the Ohio/Michigan area.

Yep. That game probably needs everything of whatever can be done.
I never really played M79 Ambush myself even though I saw the
game at arcades in 1970s.

iirc video recordings are needed for video and analog audio
reference. If it is possible to access the pcbs closeup photos
of the chips on the pcbs might help in regards to documenting
the chips that are used for generating analog audio sounds.

Former Mamedev Derrick Renaud suspected a
misprint in the logic schematics of M79 Ambush.

If the opportunity does happen, getting familiar with
an M79 Ambush. pdf file might be useful.
