Any ideas as to why this is happening..?
#293565 - 08/09/12 01:42 PM

This crash has suddenly started to appear when doing a ROM scan, when using either MAMEUI or MAMEUIFX,

I've checked and reinstalled the x32 and x64 C++ runtime visual libraries to no effect.

seems to happen at the exact same point 29-30%, would a corrupt Rom zip file cause it?

Strange thing is I don't get this crash when doing a ROM scan using the Emuloader Frontend..

It's best IMO to audit your set using the official MAME binary from mamedev.org and using ClrMAMEpro

However, if you refuse to do that then you might get a quicker answer over at the UIFX forums.

I would use clrmamepro with the option to decompress and check crc.

Random observation: If you look at the shape of all those error messages, it kinda looks like an accordion or a drawer in a file cabinet.
