MAME control issues.

Hi guys, sorry if this is in the wrong place, bt im looking for some help...
got a mamewah arcade cabinet, in total there are 17 emulators on it and were all working great, but the MAME emulator has started acting its self, and now some of the controls arent working, for instance i cant lauch a mame game from the mamewah screen...
also the turbo grafx emu, has started doing the same and wont launch games....
the other 15 emu's, like the SNES and SEGA all work great without issues and can play games on these emus all day long still...
ive tryied remapping the keys for 1player start on mame, but no luck, and thats as much as i know!... is there anyoppne out there who could maybe offer some help/tips? im a total noob on this subject!
