Did the machine have a specific set of CDs that came with it or did the owner/operator just use whatever CDs they wanted? (and had licenses to use)

I'm told it used a hacked consumer 6-CD changer and operators put in whatever they wanted. Would be fun to get it running

Indian Battle (Brazil) [Marcello Mancini]

I recall this being quite rare in Japan, though we eventually bought a board for it. I wonder if there are a lot of rare games to be found in Brazil.

Much appreciate the update, thank you mame devs you're awesome.

Quick question guys....just tested it out. The bloom and over-blurryness is simply too much for my taste. I set all those related effects to 0.0 in the ini, but now the screen is just dark. What setting do I use to go back to the "regular" mame look?

People.. please..
DO NOT ENCOURAGE BUG REPORT FOR GAMES WHICH ARE CLEARLY LABELED AS NOT WORKING!!
These games are flagged in source for a reason that is already known and nothing should be reported for these NON WORKING games other than MAJOR REGRESSION of functionality (EG: MAME suddenly crashes before you can see the disclaimer OK text when it didn't before).

Thank you

Why is Bloom enabled by default, and why is there no option to disable it in the GUI?

And I was just a couple days ago wondering what the development of vector shading was.

I just tried it out, and there are no features in the ui, so it's a bit of trial with entering in ini then re-loading the game.....bleh.

Who knows which or how many are critical. Delete and re-do your ini. The features aren't in the ui, so you have to try out settings the hard way. And apparently you have to do that just to get it 'normal'.

Give it some time. This was only applied to source on Sunday.. less than a day before this last U release. Everything is being worked on so 0.149 should be a very happy release for many.

Oh sure, I wasn't disappointed, just mentioning it so that people who don't want to play around with won't. I don't even know what most of the parameters mean.

Looking at the output of a "mame -showusage" will help explain each one. DOCS Still needs updating which should be done before 0.149.

just leave the HLSL disabled in mame.ini and create a vector.ini with HLSL enabled.
I'm sure these new options will be added to MAME's UI in a later release... don't worry.

Yeah, I don't mind having the features there, or even having to enter the ini to tweak them, I just was a bit puzzled as to why they're enabled by default instead of being turned off. I personally loathe bloom in all 2D games and thinks it looks terrible. I don't use it in anything except current PC games like BLOPS2 or RE6.

Yeah, it's work-in-progress still. Current SVN performs much better than u5 already, so 0.149 final should be quite decent.

Guessing there is a fair bit more to it than just having a CPU core for the relavent CPU
Still, any movement towards proper emulation of the sound in these games is a GOOD thing
