Coca-Cola to stop production of soda pop.

Coca-cola to drop soda-pop from it's line-up of products, switching to juices and energy drinks starting in 2016. Article here.
Kellogs, in a similar surprise announcement, will likewise cease production of breakfast cereals to focus on their line of energy drinks. Article here.
And if that doesn't blow your mind, General Motors, in the wake of stockholding losses and union pressure, have announced they will cease production of automobiles in preference of the more profitable boat engine market. Article here.

Correct me if I'm wrong... I thought Norton was just a product line, Symantec being the company. I have detested the Norton line of products since the mid to late 90s, but I'm perfectly content with Symantec Endpoint Protection.

Sure, but I actually don't even know if it's possible to buy Symantec stock. Just figured it'd be a good idea if your going to encourage all your subscribers to look for porn on the internet.

Symantec was recently split up - I believe Norton and Anti-Virus are one company and their enterprise stuff (basically everything they got buying Veritas Software in the 90s, including Backup Exec) is the other company.

It's only very slightly better than nothing. When it debuted, it was supposedly good, but they seem to have not kept it up.
I'm currently using Avast and CCleaner, both of which would like me to upgrade to a subscription service, and running Malwarebytes Anti-Malware every week or so, since it actually charges (subscription again) for the version with continuous monitoring.

I got the two years subscription on it.
I don't even use the Windows Defender most of time.

If it's needed, it wakes but doesn't show it's head.
I've long been using MSE, and supplement with Mbytes (which is not even premium - although premium is ten bucks for three machines....I really should buy it). I watch all kinds of net porn on my theatre rig, and rarely does Mbytes even find anything. So far, I've had no indication of penetration (oooooo), although all my computers's browsers are a little slower lately...which could easily be a combination of MS updates and old hardware.

you must have bought Malwarebytes Pro in the 1.x series. They were offering a lifetime subscription for one PC for $24.95.
When they hit the 2.x series, they removed Malwarebytes Pro and created Malwarebytes Premium, which protects up to 3 PCs, but has yearly or biyearly subscription offers. But YOU've been grandfathered in.
(Of course, you can still always have a free version with the reduced functionality.)
In short, you lucked out for being an "early" adopter.

You're citing what also seems to be an outdated offer. The site offers 1 year for "for 1 PC." They also offer their other product, Anti-Exploit, at the same rate. So the full package is $49.90 annually per PC, or more for business licenses.

Nah, I wasn't an early adopter. It was an offer with Acronis True Image 2013. Had to go through my saved email to find it. Got it in November 2012.
