Guys I have on old Powerramp joystick and I would like to get to work in windows 10. I have tried connecting PS2 to USB adaptor to it but it does not seem to work. Does anybody know how to get it to work?

I know it's a long shot but maybe it needs a PS2 keyboard connected in order to work? Maybe it doesn't get detected as a keyboard on its own.

I believe the PS/2 to USB adapter you're using only works with a Logitech mouse. When you plug a Logitech mouse into it, the mouse detects the adapter and sends the signals differently so that it works. It can't be used with a keyboard or in this case, a joystick.
There are generic PS/2 to USB adapters on the market but they're usually very laggy and not recommended for something like a joystick.
You're probably going to need to find a modern PC or at least a motherboard that has a PS/2 port. They're still on the market, just much less common then they used to be.

Supposedly, it has a PS/2 passthrough. You can plug your PS/2 keyboard into it and then plug it into the computer.

I guess you haven't noticed that the Powerramp has a PS2 keyboard passthrough.
My rationale being, having a real keyboard plugged in to it might help getting Windows to see a keyboard, which is what you want. I'm just guessing though.

Especially something so old it comes with a cable with serial adapters!
I have quite a few older controllers/keyboards like that around here somewhere too. And if I remember correctly, I had to have a keyboard connected too to make some of them work. But not all. I imagine it has to do with the type of encoder (if it even has it's own) in it.

Are you trying to connect this to the PC with the PS/2 or a USB port?
It's going to make a big difference.
I'm assuming that you're trying to plug this in with the PS/2 male plug on the long cable. That means you need to plug in a PS/2 keyboard on the pass-thru(short) cable. A USB keyboard will probably not work that way thru a PS/2 port even with it being an active adapter...It definitely will not work with that passive adapter you have on there now.
Have you tried hooking a mouse(PS/2 or USB) up thru there to see if it works?
The best way to get it to work is to just plug that new cable into a USB port & then plug in the controller cable to that.(You may still need a PS/2 keyboard hooked up to the pass-thru though...)
That should work right off...I hope...
