Hi all - resurrecting a project that uses a PS/2 version Win I-PAC 2 connected to windows 10 machine.
1) connected for the first time to PC (PS2 to USB) and amazingly the device was recognised and was installing the device!!
2) moments later, the I-PAC2 disappears from devices and is replaced by an error 'Unknown USB device ( Device Descriptor Request Failed'.
3) There is a 'dance' where Windows 10 continues a few times to reinstall, but it remains an error.
Any drivers or advice that I can access to resolve this?
P.S. I have a PS/2 keyboard also connected to the board.
thanks so much

Update: it remains 'recognised' but when I look at the device properties, it states:
"This device cannot start (code 10) An unknown item was found in the report descriptor

It's highly unlikely that it will work with a PS2 to USB converter.
You should reach out to Andy @ ultimarc.com and get the correct USB cable.

It did recognise and install the device, it just has an error - which may or may not be an issue with the cable.

I am having this same issue. Device is recognized but I keep getting error code 10 just like op. Is there a solution to this.
My ipac background All working fine on orignial mame pc, pc broke and arcade machine sat around a few years. Now have new pc dell optiplex 3020 and starting to re set up everyything and the ipac will not install correctly.
Led blinks once and stays off when I plug in the device to pc. Trackball works fine but no buttons or joysticks work.
edit: connected the ipac to my chromebook and the buttons work. Seems definitely a driver issue with my pc but i need help fixing it.
