Ring King not working?

Running MAME 0.191. Audit's fine for RINGKING.ZIP. But when I boot via MAME it gets to a "grid" screen and then freezes. Forever. Checked, this doesn't seem to be on any GAME NOT WORKING list that i can find. Tried downloading a new version - no joy. Anyone else confirm this before I submit a bug report?
