There are several revisions that play differently. The Japanese sets play different than US sets. The Japanese sets repeat the same levels over and over. The US sets skip certain screens until you get higher in the game. I believe the order is different too. In the original versions you could put Jumpman's hand on a girder and barrels would not roll on you. This was changed in a later revision.
