OK I just did a tiny bit of testing of Rave Racer with the latest version of MAME. Seems the speed has improved quite a bit since the last time I tried it so thanks MAME Devs.
A couple questions....
1)Which version of Rave Racer contained the support for an H-Gated 6 speed shifter? I tried all three versions I have....Jpn, Jpn ver B, and World, and went into the service menu looking for a way to enable it. Is it because there is yet another version of the game out there that has support for the H-gated shifter? If so, has it been dumped yet?
2)Something is wrong with the pedal analog support in the "World" version of Rave Racer. It acknowledges my CST pedals(which are a separate USB device) before I start the race, but as soon as I start the race, my pedal no longer functions. I know it isn't the mapping of my pedal controls, since it allows me to select the course, transmission, etc. Only when the race starts. Also it works OK in the "raveracja" version of the rom I have. Can anyone help?
