I-pac not recognized by MacOS Sierra

Hi everyone,

I have a 5 year old i-pac4 that I used to use on a windows machine. The windows machine took a crap and now I am trying to hook my system up to my Macbook pro so my kids can play.

BUT the i-pac is not getting recognized by the i-pac utility. The MacIPAC utility says "No I-PAC found. Please plug in an I-pac device."

Is there some other step that I need to do to get the Mac to "see" the i-pac?
