With all the technical discussion about PNGs and ZIPs and compression ratios, I thought I'd change things up a little and talk about artwork. Just for fun I thought I'd put together a list of my "most wanted" artwork. These aren't in any particular order and they do not reflect any priority for Mr. Do or anyone else working on the artwork project. It's just for discussion. Do you see one of your favorites on here? The ones I know Mr. Do has access to are marked. What else would you have added?
Atari Baseball (Atari 1979) Has LED play lights in control panel similar to Atari Football. Also has inner and outer bezel. Control panel in the works.
Space Tactics (Sega 1981) Lamps Done! Mr. Do did an amazing job on this built in LAY file. Bezel, backdrop and control panel still needed. Video 1, Video 2.
Space Walk (Midway 1978) Plexi bezel, interior scenery cardboard, overlay and "rocket"(?) needed.
Starship 1 (Atari 1977) Uses bezel, interior scenery art, a blacklight lit backdrop and a target crosshair taped directly to monitor (from MAWS). crosshair can be seen in video. Cabinet is similar to Destroyer. In the works (TrevEB)
Sub Hunter (Taito 1977) Clone of Depthcharge (Gremlin 1977). Flyer states that the game uses "three-dimensional color background scenery." It does not appear that parent game "Depthcharge" used the backdrop.
