Interesting, I thought the capture would be the easiest part of the whole thing. I once read Aaron's page on the whole laser thing...Direct Show...etc. I also thought there was a debate on what method to use for the capture. IIRC laserdiscs are prone to bit rot. Wouldn't it be prudent to get a good copy of a disc and make a high quality rip of it in any lossless format? Then it would be archived, so to speak, and could be worked/converted into Mame later?
