Anyway, anyone who is able to restore cabs back to their former glory deserves mad props and salutations. I grew up with Galaga back in the day. Of all the games that brought me into this arcade emulation thing was playing that game again since it's hard to find a real Galaga machine anywhere now.
I'd cut out my own cabs but I have a phobia regarding rotating bladed woodshop equipment. Sounds dumb, right? I can create, measure and assemble intricate clothing made of alternative textiles. So creating patterns and design blueprints isn't hard for me to do. But that dang phobia gets in the way of carpentry.
Y'ever see the movie "Screamers"? It's something like that.
But DKIII in a Galaxian-turned-Galaga cab which is actually a multi-game machine? It's weird, even considering DKIII's premise of literally going after DK's arse. ;-)
