Oh boy! I *LOVE* my NES Advantage! I have a NES to USB cable for it and it is simply marvelous! :-)
And what's awesome was that I got the Advantage brand new from Amazon. It was as if that brand new controller in the original packaging was just sitting in a stockroom or warehouse somewhere. Neither a refurb nor a modern remake: The real deal sealed within just there stranded in time just waiting to be discovered.
I opened the package, removed the styrofoam and unwrapped the Advantage from its sealed bag within. Ahh, the intoxicating aroma of freshly-molded plastic circa 1987! Mmmmmmmm...I don't know how many experienced that. Literally factory fresh hardware from long ago. I never got off on anything like that before.
I just had to use it with FCEUX! And it performed as if it was on a real NES! It was so good I just had to fire up my NES console downstairs and it was as if I was 15 again. Only this time I had the Advantage! :-)
If I ever find another Advantage I'm going to get another so I have a pair for some 2-player action.
And it kicks ass with MAME! :-) :-) :-)
