> If that "procedure" is needed for having playable games - Why not ? We can archive "proper" dumps in MAME, meanwhile we will play "hacked" dumps in so called emulators. No one stops You from working on driver and improving it. I will support You all the time. For example : I play Naomi/Atomiswave games in DEMUL now because they are almost fully playable there and patiently waiting for these games to got playable status in MAME - Am I a bad person 'cause I am using Demul ?
