Demon, for someone who has been around for a year, you must have seen the way he treats people on his forums. Many times a new user registers there, asks a perfectly innocent question, which then BP for some reason does not like, and either mocks them or out-rightly bans them.
There does not seem to be a week that goes by that he does not disparage other people on other websites. He belittles other people’s efforts to make a MAME version on Xbox that is free from locks, unlike CoinOPs that is locked so that it can only be used his way.
BP has the gall to do this, when this unlocked version of MAME has its source code released and credits the devs that have worked on previous versions.
Another example of this disrespectful behaviour…
A version of Final Burn Alpha was ported to Xbox. The dev who ported it had put a lot of time and effort into it, and he released his modified source code, as well as crediting the original authors. This dev explicitly asked that any further modifications to the source to be made available, so that others can benefit from it. Now without even asking him, BP took the source and incorporated it into CoinOPs, he of course did not credit the dev(s) nor did he release the source. There was a heated argument at 1emulation forums between BP and this dev, who was rightly angered at what had happened. BP did not apologise for his behaviour, he did not give a shit at what he had done.
Demon, you need to take a step back and think of the kind of person that you are defending.
