So long as I can unpin or otherwise dispose of the stupid Live Tile things crammed in to the start menu, and remove the "search field in the taskbar" thing, I think I'll be OK with it. For some reason those UI features really bother me, almost to the point of anger... I think it's what I read as an implicit assumption on the part of the UI designers, "We know you people are all too stupid, lazy and/or vapid to organize, remember, or find anything on your own, so here's a puke-splatter of things that ought to keep you entertained, pinned to all available surfaces"
