This is an....interesting comment. Naw, I been out over twenty, dude. I ain't gungy, though obviously there are things that have stayed with me. Probly will remain till whatever end. Not angry, either. I'm just firm and stern about some things.

I know what kind of experience I want to have, and I carry myself accordingly. Others aren't below me (I did anticipate this sentiment from someone), though everyone appears to be over there from me. We're in different spaces. And the point is that I welcome them to the one I'm in - but that requires a willingness on their part to become something other than they are.

Like I implied in the original post, I haven't felt lesser than others when they were better, even if they said they were. I knew they was. If I re-defined humility, this'd be how: defer to authority. Which I always have. Depending on the context, I may be that authority, and I argue in the sense of transcending [one's] humanity, I am.

Also using elevated speech does not make you look smart. It makes you look like a condescending jerk. Unless that is the path you want to take in life. I would humbly suggest, stop doing it. Unless you know the person you should communicate at the 6-8th US grade level. It is a good tip in life.

I am making an assumption here. But you just got out or are about to? It takes a couple of years to acclimatize back. You can go one of two ways. I have seen it many times. You can either become bitter and more angry that the world is not orderly and no one knows what the hell is going on. Or go the other way and help out those around you. Use those skills you learned and help others. One path lies the path to success and reward. The other is posting snotty remarks on message boards and hoping you get a few likes to stroke your ego. Make no mistake about it. You will now need to learn a whole new set of skills. Once you put the two together you may be pretty good at whatever it is you chose to do. But do not assume it will be given to you. You will have to earn it. Even when you deserve it you may still not get it. Rank is not assumed in the real world.
