The National Association of Manufacturers issued a statement:

“The outgoing president incited violence in an attempt to retain power, and any elected leader defending him is violating their oath to the Constitution and rejecting democracy in favor of anarchy. Anyone indulging conspiracy theories to raise campaign dollars is complicit. Vice President Pence, who was evacuated from the Capitol, should seriously consider working with the Cabinet to invoke the 25th Amendment to preserve democracy.”

Maybe a first imo with a business association corporation/group. Maybe something was also done during Nixon's second term, but I doubt it.

And the reason why companies or corporations are saying something is because many of the American based companies know that their financial outlook will take future serious nosedive if something is not done asap.

The management within the various companies could soon no longer be getting business from overseas clients, outside vendors might no longer purchase items, and outside suppliers might be willing to only supply to companies that are located in a stable government operations. Currently the US is very unstable and the US companies already know that and are panicking that the past tax breaks, bailouts etc will have evaporated and the consumer market within the US is already gone. Billionaires by themselves will not be enough of a consumer market to sustain the companies themselves and the US companies already know that and desperately want to see some form of stability take place.

... These are not Democratic ads, but ads put together by GOP members, remaining American Fortune 500 corporations, 'behind-the-scenes billionaires' that still want to run a profitable business and not go bankrupt. The folks that put ads together or helped fund the ads are not kool aid drinkers.

Big business corporations (GE, Ford, Walmart, Coke, IBM) want to stay in business and retain American consumers to still be able to purchase their various products.

Not possible when a crazy office occupier destroys the country, kills off consumers, threatens trader partner countries with tariffs, threatens CEOs such as the GM CEO, interferes with businesses.
