Even though it plays 3D games fine ??? What games in MAME are you trying to play? None of those older games you mentioned should do that. They should play fine on that setup. The GPU will not help MAME run faster, there are certain circumstances but I'm not getting in to that now. My best guess... Pessimist: Oh, this can't get any worse! Optimist: Yes, it can!
