In all honesty, it doesn't matter which party is in charge in DC.

Neither one cares about its voters. Once politicians get to DC, they care only about enriching themselves and they will stay there until they die.

I don't expect any serious effort from them towards fixing the US's problems, so it's much easier to tune them out and live your own life in spite of them.

I recommend that to everyone, regardless of where you are on the political spectrum.
