People are acting like this is the most offensive thing they've ever seen. They need to get a grip. Seriously.
That said, she had the foam hand on the wrong hand, which had my OCD tingling.

Video is apparently unavailable in my current region, but I'm assuming it's Kilometre-and-a-Halfey Cyrus at the VMA awards. I don't find the think offensive, I just think it's sad, pathetic and desperate. It's not sexy or erotic or anything else.

I don't think (at least from Miley's point of view) that it's supposed to be erotic or sexy. I think it's intended to be weird and confusing, in the same vein as Lady Gaga, except with more hip-hop.
I think that as long as she stays away from hard drugs (coke, meth, heroin, crack, pcp, oxy, etc...) and doesn't become an alcoholic, she'll do fine. We don't need another Lindsay Lohan trainwreck.

But the thing is, Lady Gaga is actually talented, and has style. She doesn't just look desperate all the time, and how many "artists" can do this well if you just give them a piano and microphone?

But Lady Gaga actually manages erotic and sexy on occasion, while this pop-tart just seems to be trying as hard as possible to be remembered as Moley Cyrus.

Agreed. Gaga's an actual talent who's very smart about marketing herself. Cyrus seems to be the latest in a long line of trainwreck ex-Disney girls.
Also, someone needs to alter the video so the teddy bears are all Pedobear. I'll be gravely disappointed in the Internet if that doesn't happen.

I'll admit, I never watched it. Didn't care to. An old acquaintance on FB said it was the jersey turnpike... I looked that up and the Jersey Turnpike requires bending of the knees. I'm sure twerking jiggles the glutes.
Oh well. Who cares @ this point? 
I didn't watch the WHOLE THING. Maybe both "dance moves" were used at some point.
