Ok I'm glad you like them. I put a lot of time into each one. I will continue. I have access to the artwork FTP. I used some of your raw cabinet images from your folder, I hope you don't mind. Would it be better to create a new folder on the FTP to put my cleaned up cabinets in? I can also just post them here.

Okay, thanks.
When you repack, unite MAME & MESS images, and release them in your v0.170 update... will there be a way for people who only use MAME for arcade purposes to easily delete the MESS images?

Cool cabinets! Good resolution/cleanup.
I just want to point that black is not the best option as a background color, since the vast majority of arcade cabinets are black. So depending on the lighting, you can barely see the edges of the cabinets, and that's no good, since we all want to see the cabinet highlighted in the picture, and not fading against the background.
But since all cleanups have black backgrounds already, I suppose you guys wouldn't want to change it at this point 
BUT... if this eventually happens, I guess that a good color would be grey (light gray or dark gray) since there are not so many cabinets that uses this color, if any of them.

I'll think about... but now edit more than 3,000 images is a titanic work!

Thanks for the input. I have been grappling with ideas to improve the look of the ones I'm doing. I can change the background colors of all of mine without "too" much work. I have the full sized images with a mask. I can easily change the color of the mask, which when flattened, becomes the background.
It's hard to brighten the cabinets up so they contrast with a black background without making the cabinet look too bright. I'm working with dark images to begin with, that's a big part of the problem.
It would be nice if we could have a sticky on this forum for people that go to arcades/shows can upload them to a thread. Any other ideas?
See attached image with grey background and see whatcha think.
I always enjoy helping AntoPISA.
If anyone knows of image resources (except the usual suspects) please let me know.

Don't worry man, I feel your pain! And those 3000 cabinet images are great, even with black backgrounds
I've suggested this for future cleanups and cabinet updates, when higher resolution cabinet images are available. Let those already done the way they are.
Antny: good work on that one. That's the idea

I tried a different background to brighten things up. Opinions would be appreciated.

I changed older ones back to having a black background. I don't have the energy to replace all of them. There are many new ones also.
