I've been gone for quite a while, I've got a couple quick questions.

Hoping someone can answer my questions quick and easy. So I went to my favorite rom site and noticed that their are two sets now the standard regular rom/chd set and now the huge console rom/chd set. So seeing that mame and mess are now merged, so does mean John's MAMEUI64 v.167 and IV/Play 1.6.1 emulator's both will play mame and mess sets ?

IV/Play just uses whatever baseline .exe you point it to. So if you have one that includes all games then they will all display; just an arcade target version, then just arcades.

I'm not sure if I want to start using mess/software lists yet for my use of console stuff, last time I checked into it mess wasn't ready for the big show. I found out that a lot of my main platforms are not in a very playable state. But that info was like from a year ago maybe a little longer.
