MameUI64 - Frequencies (hz)
#355405 - 06/07/16 12:32 PM Attachment: 2.jpg 290 KB (0 downloads)

hi

i created some Frequencies (…49hz-63hz) in the native resolution of my Monitor (2560x1440) with the nvidia system setting.
On my former computer, Win7 Nvidia7900GTO, all these Frequencies are shown in MameUI64. And Mame choose the right if 'refresh' is set on 'Auto'.
On my New Computer, Win10, Nvidia970 i created the same Frequencies with the Nvidia system setting but MameUI64 does not shown them all.
for example 61hz, 62hz, 63hz are shown, but 51hz-58hz not.
But i have 51hz-58hz verified, in Windows they are working all.
The Monitor can Sync them all but only Mame don't shown/accept these Frequencies.
Any ideas?

Today i tried to connect the monitor with dvi instead of display port.
In Mame there are much more frequencies shown but not all.

OK its a problem of
Windows Registry (EDID)
i have solved the problem on WINDOWS 7 with
'Phoenix EDID Designer' and 'Monitor Asset Manager'
But on WINDOWS 10 'Phoenix EDID Designer' cannot read the REGISTRY EDID and so i cannot solve it on WINDOWS 10
