After MAMEUI64 0.172. Logitech F310 gamepad trigger inputs don't work

From 0.173 to the current build it seems that the inputs don't register at all for the left and right triggers. Also, the settings I had with the Start and Back buttons are reversed and I have to change them in all the games I had already setup my controller for.
Is this a bug that wasn't noticed or is this controller not supported anymore? It has the option in the back to switch from XInput to DirectInput, but it doesn't work with directinput. By default it was set on XInput.
Is there a way to fix things back to what was done since the 0.172 build? Thanks
