MameUI 258 - [LUA ERROR] in thread ...

Hi,

I'm using Mameui 64 classic, v258.

When launching a game I frequently get a LUA error, stating:
"[LUA ERROR] in thread: return value must be string"

It appears within a dialogue box, and by clicking OK, it continues to run the game, seemingly ok.

I've tried searching for the error but with no luck.
Can anyone suggest what might be causing this.
