I guess I stand corrected in assuming that OBL was killed on the same day the announcement was made that he was dead. I'm sure the military took plenty of steps to ensure that it was OBL including DNA and photographic evidence (I've read that they used facial scanning and DNA to verify)
The burial at sea makes sense too, as it doesn't leave a spot for followers/opposition to have a site to worship/defile but it all seems a little rushed...like while people were celebrating, we quickly disposed of EVIDENCE. Similar to how quickly the twin tower rubble was cleaned up and shipped across the sea. It's evidence that should be studied by unbiased sources.
