Quote: I guess I don't see where have boozie is "Sinning" any more than a married couple having sex with each other is "sinning."
I never said it was a "sin".
But you did.
In fact I'm against the very idea of prohibition and neo-prohibition: Let people make their own decisions on whether to use or not to use. Anything less is an affront to that who idea of personal independence and responsibility.
I tried alcohol and it didn't work out for me. Henry Rollins, interestingly enough, has the same story. Neither of us will say you're "sinning" if you enjoy getting a buzz on. If you do then don't drink then drive. ;-)
I'm not against drinkers or people who use any other recreational drug as long as they're responsible about its use. If harm should come to another nonconsenting person or places the public at risk that's when I see that person as a threat to myself and others and deserves to be kept off the road after the fact.
If you like it, fine! Not everyone drinks, though. That's just a fact of life.
