Hello,

I recently finished my collection of 104 individual widescreen artworks as well as generic artworks for various resolutions, so I thought I'd share them for people who might be interested.

Here's the philosophy behind those artworks:

They're all made for a resolution of 1920x1080 pixels, made for HD TVs or monitors.
The actual game area is always a multiple of the original resolution: horizontal 224p games are 896 pixel high, etc.
The idea is to have a clear emulated image and perfect scanline effects.
The other game area size (width of horizontal games and height of vertical games) is generally adjusted for a 4:3 ratio, except when games are obviously not made for that ratio, in which case the original ratio is kept.
In-game black bars and other overscan issues are hidden by the artwork.
Apart from the borders, there is generally nothing over the actual game image, and luminosity, contrast and shading of the artwork are adjusted so that it won't spoil the actual gaming experience and let it keep priority.
Bezels have a clean look very close to the source (I never use marquee or side art), but in many cases they've been photoshopped with elements resized, rearranged or moved around so that they look good in a widescreen image.
The general look isn't photorealist (Orionsangel did that better than I ever could already), the main idea is to be very clean, but there are still some lighting effects.
TV borders and cabinet borders have been taken from big10p's work, who gave me his benediction through PM.
Every car game with gear shifting has a light indicating gear position.
The source is generally from Mr. Do's artworks, so a big "thank you" for everybody who contributed to it.
