I have a Total Gym... Ha-ha. I'm not pushing a TG here (and I doubt you have one anyway) but if you sit on one like you were doing a (sitting up) bench press... Instead of just pushing your arms out straight in front of you - take the handles forward by your sides/hips and 'press' all the way to your toes keeping your legs straight the whole time. I've done this and I've found I can touch my toes with my fists - knees still straight, even on my tippy-toes (sometimes).
