Nice! http://www.dbxpro.com/286S/index.php and it's not that expensive either.

Although, you'd want to use that with an audio interface that colors the signal as little as possible. If the Alesis are shit then the dbx will not help so much.

I bought a Saffire 6 last year, but it's been stuck forever in New Jersey waiting for someone who's traveling to Brazil. Can't wait to play with it, it'll be the first time i own a "real" audio interface.
