Well maybe, you have to convey WHY they are being treated like such. Yeah sure a kid may feel, but say to the same kid that the man had killed many of said kid's age, surely it would mak them think twice.

You're using the wrong term of phrase. Splilling blood as in killing people, not literally spilling blood.
