Most of the women I grew up around avoided makeup as much as possible. My wife and her friends were dancers growing up and into their 20s (not ~that~ kind of dancer...). On stage they'd have to cake the stuff on so it could be seen from space. To see any of them with makeup outside of that was a rarity. I'ts not that I'm shocked that there are some rough looking women out there. I'm shocked as to how well it cleaned them up.
