Since this mentions "DVD", does this mean it cant be fully emulated anytime soon due to the 100s of patents surrounding all things DVD?
Do we have a dump/image of the DVD for this?

I was announcing his update for today, you are referencing the one from September 26. From what I've gathered, if a game's software held the tools for mpeg playback then it can be supported but if a game's hardware held the tools then they can't be faked/emulated until the patents run out. As far as a DVD disc format is concerned, that's not an issue. There are DVD images in MAME already.
