Ville ran Scud much faster on what I assume would be much lower-spec hardware. His final DX9.0c version ran about 130 FPS on a Core Solo laptop (ie, not a Core 2, the one before that) with just barely DX9-compliant Nvidia graphics.
The secret of course was doing all the Model 3 T&L in shaders and underclocking the PowerPC to about 25 MHz ;-) (No DRC, this was a straight interpreter).

Moreover, Ville's emulator already has lighting effect.
What I'm concerning the most is compatibility. Hope more model3 games can be made workable, or show some demos at least. Scud plus, daytona2 battle edge, etc...

Any game that MAME's shown working should be possible.
Also, Bart T. is resurrecting SuperModel in a portable OpenGL form, but you didn't hear that from me ;-)
