Capcom didn't even change the trash talking text to Spanish on this game, which is a shame because it's always 100% accurate when they do. Never any translation problems at all.

That reminds me, somewhere far down on my list of "mysteries to solve by disassembling" is why there are two releases of SFA2 US (but not any other region). I'm assuming it must have been to fix a bug related to Evil Ryu or one of the other US-only secret characters...

Heh. As soon as I saw it was a Hispanic region dump on my RSS reader, I knew I had to come here-- and I was not disappointed to see the wonderful Capcom Spanish legend lives on, even if this game doesn't seem to partake.

Any time there's a discussion of Capcom fighters in Hispanic region, we get screenshots of some of the WORST translation work possible. Bad enough to make Engrish look pretty normal, even!
That, of course, brings Kitsune Sniper out to complain, which seems to make certain people want to post those pictures all the more when possible.
Thus a cycle of mild trolling!

I WILL KILL YOU
No but seriously, they're up there alongside SNK. Though SNK did hire some people who actually spoke the language... and then messed the games up by making them display Portuguese instead of Spanish (Art of Fighting 3)
