PSU Recommendation?

Alright, so I picked up a used video slots machine from a local bar, I gutted it out to convert to a MAME cabinet, this will be my first project ever.
It came with everything, since it was "out of order", they sold it to me for $80.00 total and even dropped it off at my house.
So I gutted it out, I would have kept the PSU, but it just isn't going to work with my computer. I noticed it actually has outlets on the back of the PSU on the inside for the monitor.
I'd like to find a similar PSU like that, that would fit my PC, or at least a solid recommendation on how I can plug everything into one unit (computer, monitor, ect) and then have it come out as a single cord out of the back with a switch.
Do they make boxy surge protectors that look like that? Where it's only one cord on the front and everything plugs into the back?

A Master/Slave power strip with the computer plugged into the master socket and the power-on switch for the computer remoted out to where you want it.
The computer powering up then switches on the supply to the slave sockets where your other devices (Monitor, marquee lights, powered loudspeakers etc) are connected.

Actually I've been looking into this, I saw a set up someone else had and I am planning on doing something similar.
Basically it was just a 4 port outlet box, with a plug running out the back and then hooked up to a on/off switch on the top. A basic, do it yourself surge protector would be the easiest way to describe it.
I think I can pick up all the supplies at my local Menards for under $20.00-ish dollars. The only problem is I've NEVER played with wires before, does anyone know of any guides online for something along the lines I want to do?

Be careful - many arcade monitors need to be connected via an isolation transformer and will fry/blow up if you plug them directly into the AC line. If that's the case, you'll need to keep the old PSU around to power the monitor.
