Either...
Time Killers, poor excuse of a fighting game with gore to make it "Controversial." Mortal Kombat (1,2,U3) are far better.
Street Fighter the Movie, Its hard to imagine ruining Street Fighter, but this joke of a game competes with Time Killers for crappy fighting game.

Knuckle Joe-Never even heard of it until it was played in a episode of retro rumble so I tried it.And it was miserable

It's basically everything that was wrong with 90s comic-book character design combined with the world's most blatant Mortal Kombat ripoff. (I don't count Tattoo Assassins since it didn't ship).

I just never saw anything good about the game, I guess I was lucky to be spared worse fighting games.
I see another poster doesn't like King of Fighters, so to each their own.
I've never actually got to play most King of Fighters games in the arcade, just KOF 95 & 96 (maybe 94 as well I can't remember.)

We all like some games others dislike. I like 2600 Pac Man, it makes me nostalgic. My sweetie doesn't like me playing it when she's around unless I mute it, rolls her eyes and says, you have Pac Man on MAME and want to play that POS version? WHY!?!?
IIRC I have 2 cartridges of the 2600 version as well.

LOL well I have to agree with her,the sounds in that game were annoying.But of course not more annoying then pac man not facing the correct direction....

Never seen one in the wild, but I ran across a good candidate jumping around randomly in MAME the other day: Pickin'
It's hard as hell, but not in a good way like Defender or Robotron, it's just... annoying.

Revolution X for the win!!! This is a HORRIBLE and tedious game to the limit!! I don't appreciate Aerosmith music very much, but I admit they are good singers. But I have TBH: this game sucks!

For me, one of my favourite arcade games I like and dislike in equal measure. Why? Because it was always a 50/50 toss up finding a working cabinet :P

I actually like Rev X. Coming from someone who loves Pit Fighter, it's surprising to hear. I think the best answer to the question is X-Plan, though some people would argue that gamblers can't be submitted to the contest.

Yeah, This actually goes right along with the TV series thread that is going on now.
If you were ten years old at the time and had a quarter or two to play Star Rider it was like being Luke Skywalker!
Looking at it now sure it's lacking in many ways just like those old TV shows.
If you didn't get to live it at the time then you probably cannot understand.

I remember it being sorta fun. It had the wow factor for its time. I havn't played it since I was a kid so I doubt it will be a entertaining today....but it's very nostalgic for me.

Your post reminded me of the arcade game I hate.
Those stupid hacks of Street Fighter II (turbo/championship editions). Where they have the characters changing to random(?) others, special moves that either snail across the screen or zip all the way instantaneously, the wrong music playing for certain (or all?) stages, so on and so forth.
Most embarrassing excuse for video game feces ever. [/absolute fact]

I was hoping Phil would want it just to see if it might help his driver along any but I guess not. The only person that was interested was someone associated with Mame but not a dev, maybe he shared it with a dev and I'm unaware.
Sadly the author of the Freebasic emu. said he stopped working on it because he wasn't sure how to go forward since he was basically using hacks for the footage instead of actual LDP emulation like Mame uses.

I haven't actually played that game, but how is it any worse than other early Neo-Geo fighters like Art of Fighting or the first Samurai Shodown? It certainly can't be worse than Time Killers or Bloodstorm.
The video isn't helped by the fact that the player is using the "Ryu character"--the other characters don't seem to be nearly as derivative of SF2 characters.

The first Samurai Shodown is a fairly good game, IMSHO.
I don't care for the first Art of Fighting, King of Fighters, Fatal Fury, or World Heroes, but I like Samurai Shodown.
If it weren't for the fact it was "free" with the King of Fighters 95 cart, I'd not own King of Fighters 94.
Art of Fighting I own because I want a "guinea pig" when I get the Jamma to TV setup someday that's on much bucket list. I still find it funny I "Won" it on EGay EBay for $2.25 (& $7.00 s/h) as nobody wanted it.
I own Art of Fighting 2 as its my "first" Neo Geo game I played in the arcade and I'm nostalgic about it.

Pfft. I can imagine it -pretending you have a full roster team that shares the same life bar. But the way off balance of the special moves -on either far end/extremes of the spectrum? Come on!
Here's a screen length high tower of slow moving fireballs I just made with my dragon punch, or maybe I'll move horizontally and hit you with my dragon punch. No, wait. I'll do the hurricane kick and be on the other side of the screen instantaneously. 
Why not give me 99 credits for .25 cents too, or just have some of the 2nd player buttons trigger end sequences/stories for the characters? Sound ridiculous? And all that other defiling of the special moves and game mechanics isn't?
I'll give it this. And this could probably be the only redeeming value of it... (It's) Just to see some crazy shite going about... Almost anyone could do the same screwing around with it with cheats in MAME (or used to). Or some 14 y/o kid with some half decent coding skills and terminal cancer, and making perverting this game was his make-a-wish.

Agreed.The special moves changes could have been left out.I do like being able to switch characters on the fly though.
I really hate when fireballs came out during Honda's hundred hand slap,and Chun Li spinning round kick.

In fact Pit-Figher PRECEDES MK so, it's not a MK clone.
And that elbow to the nuts technique doesn't work on the original arcade version. You can paralyze your opponent for a short period of time also, but it's much more difficult to do and it doesn't let you to keep hitting enemies until the end of the match. This was a crappy port result.
And about the other games, I agree with you.

Can you not get Matt to look at the code that this Freebasic guy did? You might not get 100% emulation but something is better than nothing, and maybe a smaller file size too.

That and Thunder Blade...If the control stick worked, then one of the buttons didn't work, or vice versa.
My personal fav, trying to play a game where both the stick and the buttons worked, but the springs were shot.

Konami's 'Badlands'.
This game had one button as the sum total of its controls. That's it. Granted, it was a laserdisc game, and many of them ran on rails - but this one really, Really, *REALLY* boiled that concept down to the least-interesting possible facet of the genre. If the video had least made up for it in some way (see: Funai's 'Interstellar') it might have been acceptable, but it didn't, and the entire game boiled down to 'press button in the appropriate time window or die'.
Note that I'm saying this as someone who likes laserdisc games.

In Tekken 3 and later games, Nina can kick people in the "balls" - girls, metal bodied cyborgs and training dummies included! On a counter hit, the opponent falls over holding themselves in pain.

Doesn't Interstellar have video overlay, and some actual shooter gameplay, besides the cool morphing backdrops and the smooth electro soundtrack?
