Seemingly, several games of that same period have that online ranking. I remember Martial Masters and Demon Front have some reference of it on their screens.

Wow! It looks fantastic! I didn't know about the DoDonPachi series so I'm going to give them a try rightaway! BTW, do you think this dump will be included in MAME at some point?

Well Bee Storm actually is er, the worst of the DonPachi series. It wasn't developed by Cave, they just sold a license to IGS to make it. It's still a good shooting game, well above average, but compared to Cave shooters, almost every shooting game is crap, in my opinion. If you really didn't know about Cave shooters, I guess your eyes are about to be opened. Ketsui is probably the best game ever made. Anyway this Chinese Bee Storm will be in mame after we extract the protection code.

I believe a good emulation of this games soon, even you said every game can be emulated never or even in 3000 years. "Impossible"

That's good to know. For a minute there, it sounded like you were disrespecting the efforts of Konami, Irem, Toaplan, Raizing, Psikyo and Taito, all of which have made shooters of high quality at various points.

Psikyo made some great shooters. Again, I said almost every, not every. 95% of every shooter ever made can't compare on a level of fun to your average Cave game. A few Psikyo, Raizing, Toaplan etc. are in the 5% exception area. Just my opinion.

Thanks for you comments. I played DoDonPachi and enjoyed it. There's a 90ish air to it. I'm fond of 80's arcades but I'll take the reference to Cave into account and do some digging

No that second quote was about Haunted House. Bee Storm he can trojan. I don't have the trojan yet and haven't built the adapter. For 9 Dragons I don't have the trojan yet.
