So, it's basically a glorified Puyo Puyo with sushi?

any big name game of this type has it's own hook / unique gameplay element.

in this case you actually select the pieces that drop down from the conveyor belt at the top rather than it being a simple 'next piece' system.

we've never seen a Mole Hunter come up I'm afraid.

Surprising, because there's a fair bit of material out there about it, but for some reason the actual game hasn't shown up at all, maybe you were just lucky enough to play it on a location test?

All I said was that the game looked like Puyo Puyo. Is that so strange?

Assuming this game is successfully purchased and dumped, it will be interesting to actually play the game and experience the differences.

Not only can we not get that game but we can't get any specific undumped arcade game whatsoever. We are completely at the mercy of what pops up for sale. The days of looking at an undumped list and then choosing which to seek and buy are long gone, probably a decade gone or more.

SmittDogg, this is not true. You keep telling me that you are passing up on that guy selling the wavenet in chicago and the dude selling the "odd turbo sub possibly a prototype or another game" in california because you need to complete the sushi and popcorn games first. that sushi tho.

in all seriousness...out of town till saturday, but will send funds when i get back.

Maybe quicker results would be contacting Andy Welburn and see if he can find that pcb for a price...probably in 3 figure range ($300 to $750 range....I am guesing in case a pcb does turn up for sale) is what you will have to be willing to pay for that pcb and have roms dumped from that pcb.

>This is the only title i have left that isnt emulated from my youth 1969 - to Now.

Has to be more game than just Mole Hunter because I probably have 10 to 20 video games (non-cpu variety) not yet emulated in MAME, but some fortunately emulated in DICE.

And then other game names Desert Patrol, Death Race, Flying Fortress, Computer Space, Digital Games Model 474 Challenger (pong clone.....my favorite pong clone) etc, etc. And then the obvious is Nintendo's film reel version of WG.

Kee Games Quiz Show is only remaining cpu based game that I did play back in 1976 and is currently partly emulated in MAME. Some roms might need to be redumped from a Quiz Show pcb or at least verified if possible. A couple Quiz Show tapes were purchased in 2014 [MAMEdev member], but they need to be taken to a business that can read out the data from the tapes. And it also depends of what manner the data on tapes were stored. It might be a tape format that is not yet handled in MAME. If anything, that's where I would be wanting to donate money towards in case it costs a fair amount to have data from tapes read. I am guessing some business that can do that might be asking a few hundred dollars for doing that type of work.
