If "being used on hardware" is the only real prerequisite for inclusion into official MAME, it sure would be nice to have UMK2:TE and UMK3:TE added as well. They go well beyond being simple hacks and really change a lot over the original games (bug fixes, balancing, general tweaks, etc). Then I don't understand why Outrun Enhanced Edition isn't in MAME since not only is it FOR arcade hardware, it's the original code with all code issues resolved.
