Upgrading rom set from 159 to 180 but getting an error when launching a games (not all games)

Hello,
Just been upgrading my MAME 159 rom set (just about complete, in audit showed 0 incorrect on both roms and samples).
Been using Rom vault rom manager to upgrade step by step. What I've been doing is find, for example, a mame 159 to 160 rom update....
Running each update through rom vault.
When I first got to rom set 180, there were around 940 incorrect roms. These were mostly chd's I had to hunt down and add to rom vault to sort out.
Presently I have a few more rom & chd's to go and I decreased my incorrect rom count down to about 200 (and samples 100% correct).
The games work great, but I'm getting this error message when launching a game (not every game, but many..)

The game still works, looks, sounds fine and plays fine.
Just confused on why I'm getting a lot of these...
Is there another step I need to take? Rename some rom files that were changed from 159 to 180?
Do I need to run them through ClrMAMEPro?
Any suggestions much appreciated,

it just means, that particular machine's ROM or CD-ROM or DVD-ROM or GD-ROM or HDD or FDD needs to be redumped. it's not a problem on your side.

I was freaking out on how many were giving me this.
Don't remember 159 rom set giving me all those...but the 159 mame I was running had no nag patch so I probably never saw them hehe..

Sorry about the stupid question here:
Is there a rom re-dumping utility (clrmamepro?) to fix some rom files? (I know some cannot be fixed or haven't been dumped yet?)

if you got above message, rom or disc/disk needs to be redumped by a dumper from original hardware/media.
clrmamepro can only fix your existing roms/chd set (rename, move, remove, add) to be compatible with provided DAT file/executable.

yeah, this is one of the more annoying (and pointless) warning messages, as it really doesn't tell you anything that the other flags don't (if a game actually has a bad gfx rom it will be flagged as imperfect gfx)
it usually flags up on missing NO_DUMPs which aren't even used by the emulation, eg gals and pals.
I think it should be disabled except in the case of actual CRC errors during the loading myself, where there is something unexpected / wrong with the roms you're using vs. the ones MAME expects.
