Programmable RGB keyboards and Mame

So I'm planning shortly to purchase an RGB programmable keyboard such as the Corsair K95 or Logitech G910 Spectrum. I'm wondering if anyone has had some experience with these keyboards in Mame.
Ideally each game would boot up with the keys for play lit in one color while perhaps general setting Mame keys would be lit in another. Maybe flashing #1, #2 keys as coins are added.
What I'm likely going to run into is just one setting for the mame executable. Maybe the macro keys can be set for different keyboard layouts. From what I have read, the logitech software sounds the most flexible.
The Logitech software has options for in game scenarios such as flashing keys when health or ammo are running low. This might suggest that the software is smart enough to know when mame is running one title vs another.
Perhaps there is a frontend I have not heard of that can adjust settings on the keyboard before the game launches.
Perhaps someone here has one of these keyboards and could share layout files for Mame.
Thoughts?

I have the Corsair K70 and I love it. Yes you are correct though, each application will have only one automatic setting.
What you can do though is save as many different lighting profiles as you want - 1 for each game you want (you'll have to create them yourself, but they are easy to do with the editor) and then you save the profile the name of the game it is for and right before you launch that game in MAME just do a quick profile change from the system tray. It only takes a second to switch to another lighting profile.
You've given me something to think about trying for myself now.

I've fiddled with the G910 Spectrum (the newer version) at work. Key feel is nice and solid but the sound is on the quiet end for gaming keyboards and it's totally usable in an office setting. Also, the RGB LEDs are genuine 24-bit. Some competitors aren't necessarily (e.g. the crap Alienware ships can only show ~16 colors, and that's on their highest-end system).
For support in MAME you'd want a frontend that supported per-game settings, as has already been noted. And/or a version of LEDBlinky or equivalent that supports the Logitech API.

I went with the Logitech spectrum 910. Really nice keyboard. It's replacing a rosewill cherry mx keys. Also nice and solid though a bit to noisy. It's going to take awhile to get into this Logitech. Also includes a smart phone interface. The pull out slot simply holds the phone. You download an app that somehow ties into the game. Would have been nice to offer charging but it will be useful for watching keynote speeches while working. Eventually I'll figure something out to use with Mame and post it here.
