DU: Adventures in Atariland
#363327 - 02/08/17 03:48 PM

Andy Welburn may have struck some more Atari gold. He found and dumped the alternate track pack for Atari Indy 4 and found security documents for Gauntlet hardware and the slapstick.

Cool, any chance we'll see scans of the security documents?

I don't know if he'll be posting them publicly or not. Probably?

While this new info is obviously useful for reference, is there anything left that uses slapstick and is still broken, (that this info will actually fix)?

I was thinking useful for repairing real boards.

*Applauds*

If any relevant info is in the paperwork that is not yet documented in src/mame/machine/slapstic.cpp ....I hope it gets added to the file. Aaron and Frank already covered a fair amount, but there should be other stuff in the papers that can be added to the source code file imo.

More future non-cpu games goodness. I hope the roms and proms are added into the atarittl source file even though it might be a while before Indy 4 is emulated.
