One of the ROMs actually has a GEI 1982 copyright string.

EDIT: Actually is The Big Joke by GEI in 1987. Seems to fit well in gei.cpp

EDIT2: Turns out I was a bit too optimistic: can't get questions to show.

It looks like it's still going to be socially acceptable 30 years after release

Anita Bryant approved version or what? new [Re: BrianT]

I wouldn't be surprised if Anita Bryant and Phylis Sclafly were still around, they would enjoy playing this version had they seen it somewhere.

I guess the designers didn't get Disney Corp permission to add lame unfunny trivia questions for Disney's 1960s era movie 'Song of the South'. *sarcasm*

btw: iirc as a kid seeing the movie in theatres in late 1960s, it was so-so. The corporation should re-release the movie, but should add a disclaimer before movie plays (DVD disc / Blue Ray.... whatever) that this movie was produced in a stereotype prejudiced era. Instead the company treats the movie [Song of the South] similar as to remaining few documents withheld from recent JFK document release....like a taboo item to be withheld from the public.

I've been saying this for a while. Release the movie, but add a TON of materials that explain why the movie's content is so awful now. Commentaries, documentaries, interviews, the works.

Sadly Disney will never do that because of their family friendly brand.

I wouldn't say "never". Maybe it's just me getting older and noticing more, but since Robert A. Iger started running the show, certain things have appeared to start relaxing. Like... Up until at least 2010 or so, you NEVER saw beer in the Magic Kingdom. I could swear I saw people with beer there last time I went.

Then there is this whole history of adult jokes hidden in most Disney films (dedicated YouTube channels for that)

Then there's Marvel, and Star Wars... never saw that one coming (from Disney)...

There is a big difference between things like Beer at Disneyland or the Marvel and Star Wars films (all of which may not be appropriate for children but which are generally uncontroversial for the most part) and a film that has racist themes/stereotypes that would be highly controversial in 2017 even if released by a studio not so closely associated with children's content.
